Giovanni Rincon Romero

Giovanni Rincón is a Senior Associate Consultant. He is responsible for technical structuring, technical due diligence, equity capital raising, and debt capital works for infrastructure projects and deals in Latin America.

Prior to joining SDCompass, he worked for 4 years as coordinator of engineering studies for the Odebrecht Group. In this capacity he coordinated for more than 150 km of roads and bus rapid transit lanes, 100 km of Metro, 205 km of urban roads, 263 hectares of ports and 2500 hectares of urban improvements in Latin-American cities.

He started his career as an architect at Metodo Engenharia in Sao Paulo. He then continued building his career internationally by developing designs, budgets, risk matrixes, studies of demand and urban regulations for sustainable mobility, renewable energy, and low-income housing in India, Barcelona and New York.

He is a Master in Architecture and Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Professional in Project Management from PMI in the USA, member of the SEAS/Poli-USP Collaborative Course on challenges in the generation of urban energy, Infrastructure Project Evaluator of the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, and Architect of the Universidad San Buenaventura, Cali. He lives in Bogota since 2011.
